When the 3 month period expires, your agency may keep utilizing VIPRE by a $199.95 month to month rental fee, purchase the complete H-2500 field unit which includes the VIPRE laptop, printer and carrying case for $8995; or tell us no thanks and your VIPRE software will cease to function on your laptop and you can remove it.
Here's how it works:
Step One: Download a VIPRE $1000 Training Challenge Form.
Step Two: Complete the form and fax it to VIPRE at 1-800-918-2857.
Step Three: We will contact you within 3 business days to confirm whether your grant request has been approved.
Step Four: We require notification from you within 30 days of your approval date of preferred and back-up dates for one staff member to attend the week-long (40) Basic Examiner Certification Course (BEC) in Orlando, Florida.
Step Five: We require that you ship the department laptop to our technicians so that we receive it no later than (7) business days prior to your arrival for certification. Upon receipt, VIPRE technicians will install our VIPRE H-2500 Field Unit Software and secure your computer pending your arrival. Your laptop will be waiting for you the first morning of training fully loaded and prepared for your weeklong training.
Step Six: Upon arrival for training, your staff member will receive a VIPRE Basic Examiner Instruction Manual and their laptop with a VIPRE VSA microphone.
Step Seven: Upon successful completion of your Basic Examiner Certification (BEC) course, your department will have full use of the VIPRE H-2500 VSA software and microphone for 3 full months at no charge.
Step Eight: At the conclusion of your six month period, your agency may choose to discontinue use of the VIPRE VSA software, continue using your VIPRE VSA program for just $199.95 per month by utilizing our OUTCOME program; or decide to purchase the complete H-2500 field unit which includes the VIPRE laptop, carrying case and printer for just $8995!

*Basic Examiner Certification courses are held weekly in Orlando, Florida. Availability is on first booked basis. As part of the VIPRE $1000 Training Challenge program, tuition for one individual per agency is waived. Departments are responsible for their own travel related expenses including air, lodging and food.
